CONSTIPATED and now stuck with a FISSURE.....?!

Question: My nephew was constipated about two weeks ago. He passed a bowel movement with very very much difficulty and wasnt able to pass another one for a week with nearly the same amount of difficulty. That was on tuesday. yesterday he passed another bowel movement (the first one after being constipated) and it was very loose. we think that he has an anal fissure though which developed two weeks ago with the start of his constipation. How can we treat this? He doesnt even want to pass normal bowels becausee of how painful the fissure is. Is there something we can do without taking him to the doctor? by the way, he is 14. Please no rude comments.

Here are some home remedies to keep in mind.

Follow the link to The Doctors Book of Home Remedies, but keep in mind that although it is not something any 14 yr old wants to do, it's always a good idea to have it checked out, especially if it persists! good luck!

Take him to a doctor. I can't advise you on his diet.
