Does anyone else think this is wierd?!

Question: I like have to sleep with my arms above my head. If I don't I just feel wierd, and uncomfortable. Then the next morning, I wake up, and my arms are numb, and really sore. Does anyone else do this or am I alone in the world?

I am the same exact way. I cannot fall asleep without my arms above my head. I hate it. I always wake up, and my arms are numb, and it takes like an hour for them to stop tingling. I never used to do it, I always slept on my side or belly. The only thing I have found that works is to sleep without a pillow. Don't know why, but it works.

nope not, weird just you !

people always feel weird when they don't sleep they way that they usually sleep.

I think it's unusual but I have to sleep with my arms folded underneath me.

i am the exact same way its just a comfort position its totally normal and a lot of people do it

i dont do that, but i really like to sleep with my arms folded and squished underneath my body and wake up with my arms numb too! but its the only way i feel comfortable!

that's weird

i have to sleep with my hand under my pillow and my head right over it. you're probably not getting good circulation in that weird posture. try forcing yourself to change

strap ur arms to your body next time itl feel uncomfortable but eventually ur body will get used to it and u will want to sleep with ur arms by ur sides

lol hey thats werid but I do, but I usually wake up with them curled up at my chest, its just starnge not falling asleep like that, never had the soreness though

you may have a pinched nerve or are pinching a nerve in your arm. try stretching your arms before bed or after waking up.

i have to sleep with my arms folded under me (i sleep on my stomach).
i wake up and they are numb and it's annoying.

it's normal

no i don't think it's weird, i fall asleep just like that and i wake up with my arms numb.

I do it for two reasons, I breathe better when lying on my back and I have arthritis of the spine and previous fractures and recent ones. Do you have asthma or arthritis? You could get it checked if you must sleep this way. Try laying on your side.

Yes you maybe alone. The numbness is that your blood is not circulating due to your arms being above your head for that length of time. Haven't read the other answers, and I never do. I just give opinions; and most are probably wrong....
