I got a scratch by a piece of wood that had dirt on it?!
Question: I got scratched below my ankle and it just peeled some skin but no blood and its been hours and its still a small red circle. What im concerned about is that the wood had dirt all over & I've heard that the dirt has tetanus. By the way, I got a tetanus shot like over a week ago because I pinched my toe with a piece of metal. So am i safe or should a go to the doctor?

I wouldn't worry. Since you got a shot last week, tetanus is very unlikely. You should be safe.
well, if you got a tetanus shot recently, you should be just fine, you might pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide on it to clean it out, put some anti bacterial slave on it then put a band aid over that. should be good to go in a few days.
no you don't have to, red mean infected but don't panic, clean it warm water and soap, then ointment , you should be ok
Dirt can carry germs, but not tetanus. This is nothing, doesn't even sound like it broke through the skin, just scraped off a couple of layers of the skin.
At most I would suggest washing it with soap and warm water, drying it, then maybe some Neosporin (or its generic equivalent) and then a band-aid.
I know, because I've hurt myself with more things than you could possibly imagine. Among them, I crushed a rock into a gravel when my head landed on it after I fell out of a tree. I stepped on a metal toy plane and all three wheels went up inside my foot. My brother took a dirty bat when we were kids and literally laid me out by hitting me in the head with it (by accident). I sprained both ankles and cut them both severely falling off a roof.
And quite a few more. I only went to the doctor when I fell out of the tree, I didn't even go when I got hit in the head with a baseball bat. I'm still alive and kickin'. So this little thing you've got should be no problem as long as you don't let it get infected, and the soap and Neosporin will take care of that.
you'll be fine just wash your ankle with warm salty water, I mean water and salt.
Red does not mean infection so ignore the third answer. You are fine. You wont get a tatnus infectio. if you feel concernd just get hydrogen peroxide and clean the scratch. put oitment and you are fine. Red mean your skin was irritated,not infected. You are fine
