Why does one's eye twitch sometimes?!

Question: In the last few weeks I have noticed that once in a while my left eye feels like it is twitching. Is this due to stress?

Yes it could in fact be due to stress but it could also be because of Tiredness, Eyestrain, Caffeine, Alcohol, Dry eyes, Nutritional imbalances, and/or Allergies. but don't worry about it eye twitches are normal.

It can be from stress or not enough sleep, and it's caused by one of your eye muscles.

It is most likely stress I get that a lot too.

There is a parasite that burrows into the corner of the eye if introduced by rubbing with dirty hands. It forms a pupa that "jumps" or convulses until it hatches, making the eye feel like it is jumping. Don't worry, it will come out some night and you will not even feel it, and it's life cycle will start all over.

May be from stress, fatigue or if you use alot of caffeine. Could be a muscle nerve disorder but you would probably have more symptoms though.

Could be a magnesium deficiency and a web search for twitching + magnesium will tell you more.
