Could it be temporal arteritis? This is an inflammation of the blood vessel in the temple that needs to be treated due to the fact that the blood vessel supplies blood to your eye, and you wouldn't want the eye to "not" get enough blood...
I am assuming you did not have a trauma or injury...
I am guessing a vasculitis/arteritis is possible. You should get this checked, if you don't have a real doctor that you can get an appointment with, you can always go to a walk in clinic or low level emergency room. They could do preliminary tests (the most important being what is called a sedimentation rate, it is a blood test) and get you set for appropriate follow up.

Good idea to get it checked out. It's better to know what it is from so you can take care of it..best wishes. Report It

  • Make sure its not a bruise. Take some tylenol for the pain. Could be internal pressure in the brain, or a fracture in the skull, but those are unlikely unless you have had concussion recently. Anybody lately taken a bat to your head? Check on the concussion thing if the pain doesn't get any better within about 5 days after the pain started. That's assuming its been a couple of days already. If they just started today, go to the emergency room at a hospital with a free clinic.
