My eyelid has been "twitching" all weekend. What causes this and what !

Question: It's driving me crazy! It's my left eyelid, it's been doing it since Friday. Does this happen to anyone else fairly often?

Yes, it happened to me a little while ago. I'm betting you are consuming that fake sugar stuff, like diet coke, sugar-free gum, sugar-free redbull, etc. Do you know what I'm talking about? I'm almost certain that was the cause, because when I quit that stuff, it stopped. So that can do it to you!! They don't know the effects this stuff has on humans yet. Anyway, it also totally screws up your sleep cycle because you have lots of energy, then crash, and it messes with you emotionally too. Those effects can also mess you up further, like twitching or... My friend's grandpa, who drank way too much diet coke, got that involuntary twitch bad. Then later he started drooling and wasn't even aware of it! If I'm right, then quit now!! Give it about 2 months before you touch that stuff again, and make sure you're getting a healthy amount of sleep, and I bet you it goes away. Then when we're both 60, research will come out saying that stuff is bad, just like when they decided to take "coke" out of coca-cola. Just watch.

You may need glasses or if you where glasses or corrective contacts you may need to see an eye doctor to have your prescription updated. it could mean you have eye strain or high blood pressure or just stress. go to a doctor if it doesn't stop.

take calcium and vitamine E... usually twithing stops...if not u have to consult a neurologist...

Magnesium helps in some cases and a web search for twitching + magnesium will tell you more.
