Ice it if you haven't already.
When I sprained my right wrist when I was 9 I wore one of those ACE elastic bandages for the wrist to keep it immobile and stable.
I had to painfully write with it the day after I sprained it in Summer School.

Go to the doctor. I never went for my sprain and it did not heal right.

i sprained my wrist snowboarding a couple weeks ago....
first i used a splint for a few days, like 5 days.
then it didn't hurt much to move it so i used a ACE bandage for a few more days. healed in about a week.

Treatment for sprains is RICE rest, ice, compression, and elevation. Compression is achieved by the ace wrap. ice 20 mins on, & off every few hours. Keeping the swelling down will keep the pain don. Keep the injury above the level of your heart as much as possible. And dont use the injured part.
