Pain in my Achilles tendon?!
Question: I have this horribly sharp pain in my left achilles tendon. I have my period at the moment so I don't know if that's the cause. Does anyone have and remedies or ideas why I have this pain?

you could have sprained it and it will go away put something hot on it for the evening take hot bath and it should go away. also i have grandson named Achilles.
try using webmd.com to find out what is wrong with your foot, from there you can figure out how to stop the pain.
I feel your pain. Last month I started a new job that required me to be more active then I was use to. I ended up hurting my achilles tendon. It hurt so bad. If it is constant pain when sitting and walking then I suggest going to the doctors. With me it was just soar when I moved around. It took about 3 weeks and lots of rest for it to get better. (I only work part time so it worked out) I soaked it every night in some epsom salt and rubbed a535 on it. During the day when I was active I would rap it up. No gym for sure.
