What is the best thing to do if I start having a bloody nose?!

I get them all the time, mostly its due to the dry weather, but in my case i have a deviated septum so it happens more often for me, almost every time I blow my nose. so yeah if I'm at home you lie back and pinch at the top of the cartilage right below the nose bone that usually fixes it within a minute or two but don't worry if it takes up to 10. if you don't like the blood running down your throat then go to a sink and just lean over it and let the blood flow out with the water running on cold, that takes a bit longer. but no blood down the throat. hope this helps!
You got the pinching right, but you need to lean forward. Pinch the bridge of your nose. If you lean back, you're just diverting the blood into your stomach, which will eventually make you puke because blood irritates the lining of your stomach. You can also put an ice pack on the bridge of your nose (while still pinching & leaning forward)- it helps it clot faster. Hope this helps!
