Nosebleeds can be brought on by a number of things.

If the air in your home is very dry, like when the heat is on, the nasal membranes can dry out and crack open causing bleeding. You can put a little vaseline just inside the nostrils to keep them moist and prevent cracking/bleeding.

Nosebleeds can also be a sign of high blood pressure.

If you've had a cold or allergies, the nasal membranes can get irritated and raw and start to bleed.

If it continues and you can't get it to stop, call your doctor.

Sometimes it happens. And as long as it doesn't happen often, then there isn't a problem. If it bleeds more in the future, go to the doctor.

wow you've never had a nose bleed? i get them all the time! Once I even bled for like 3 hours straight because I was sick. It's most likely from dry air..if you boil water or get a humidifier that will help but don't be worried about it.

Your house is to dry maybe.

You sure nobody punched you? I think you should get it checked, there are so many different reasons that cause it.

epistaxis-nose bleeds quite good to get a clear out but not too often possible build up and this has now cleared if persist see your GP meantime do not worry if you feel unwell pop in and get a check over with your practise nurse take care
