Having trouble sleeping?!


Question: Everynight i go to bed and i lay there for about and hour trying to get to sleep befor i finally do. I usually sleep with the t.v on because i usually think way to much befor i got to sleep and it keeps me awake. I used lavender oil on my pillow not so long ago to keep me relaxed and i went to sleep so quick but its not working anymore. I really need to get to sleep faster because i wake up so tired in the morning. Does anyone have any ideas?

Remember not to overdose if taking any medications.
Also, remember to relax in your sleep.
Stop relying on the television to get to sleep.
Before you go to bed sit down on the floor.
Close your eyes, and do some easy exercises.
Whither it be gently stretching your legs, or stretching your arms.
Relax.
Think of something peaceful when in bed and trying to sleep.
Did something good happen today?
Think about that.
Focus on the good things, not the bad.
Remember not to eat anything an hour before bed, and take a small drink of water before, or to bed with you.

Listen to the radio

you prob. have insomnia. i have that same problem, you have. what i have discovered that has helped me is that i listen to my stereo. i plug my ipod into it or put a cd in something that will keep my mind off of things, (you know, you sort of sing in your head) that distracts me than after a little bit i fall to sleep. it took me a few nights but now it work within like 10 minutes at the max.

just try to sleep lol
