Fractured ankle question?!

Question: I fractured my ankle on last Thursday [Feb. 21] and I've had a splint on it since then. It is now Monday [Feb. 26]. Tomorrow, I am going to the orthopedics. I was just wondering if you think they will give me a WALKING CAST, or REGULAR cast. It's really hard on crutches... So I'm hoping for a walking cast. What will they most likely give me?

They will probably give you a REGULAR cast. My friend once broke his ankle, and he was in a cast for a while (about 3 or 4 weeks), but then he was given a walking cast. My opinion is that for an ankle sprain, you will start out in a regular cast, but more relatively quickly into a walking cast.
