I have a nose piercing. It hurts for about a second that's it. And u can pick which piercing you want. They have ones that are just a short poll with a little ball at the end that goes inside your nose (helps keep it in) or one shaped kind of like a bent s. They stay in better. That's what I usually wear. There's like a u shape inside your nose with them. Go for it lol. If you can handle being pinched real hard or gettin a shot then you'll be fine. And you can't leave it out for more than a few minutes for a year. It takes a year before it wont grow shut. I've noticed with mine once in a while I wake up in the morning and have lost it out of my nose somehow and by the time I find it and put it back in it's already hard to get in and I've had mine done since about June last year
Of course it hurts. Not as bad as a lot of other things that you can pierce. It'll take about 6 weeks before it starts to heal up. You can't take it out until it's healed.
My wife got me one right after we were married. It only hurts when I stray and she yanks the cord.
