When you take Ibuprofen, why do they work and sometimes don't?!

Take it at the beginning of your pain. It is also known as Motrin. It is an OTC (over the counter) medication. It is used for mild to moderate pain control. It is also a good anti-inflammatory medication.
Alcohol stops them working as fast
make sure you eat before hand as this helps you digest them quicker.
It also depends at what point of the pain you take it. If you take it when your pain is at the peak then it would seem like they arent working. Take them the moment you feel the pain start.
For me Ibuprofen never kills pain, but works internally on Inflammation and swelling really well.
I have to take 2 Excedrin and 2 Ibuprofen for relief.
