How important is it to attend physical therapy after ACL reconstruction?!
Question: I got ACL reconstruction about 5 months ago and went to physical therapy for 2 and a half months, so i haven't been attending it for the last 2 and a half months. How will this affect me?
I appreciate if anyone else who has had ACL reconstruction that wants to share their recovery experience.

Any home therapy you can do is recommended for continual good range of motion. I had ACL done 1 year ago. Do what you can at home. Your knee/leg wont regret it. Not to mention its just good exercise!
It depends on your desired level of future activity. If you have no interest in doing anything athletic aside from jogging or lifting weights then you are probably fine. If you want to do any sports then its important that you continue the physical therapy. You need to build up the strength in your leg to be able to support your knee considering the high demands that athletics place on it.
