That is called the aura of the migraine. I get it too. It's basically another symptom.

Go see your Doctor. This is part of migraines. He will send you to a neurologist if he thinks necessary and he will give ou medication.

Migraines are the worst for me. It completely disrupts my life so I feel your pain. Good Luck.

it could also be your vision.... if u watch too many tv or use the computer alot it could be that.... either go to the neurologist (head doctor) or go to the eye doctor to check your vision

this is common for people with migranes to see things either before or during their migraine "attack"
do u see a neurologist or pain management doc- if not i would suggest getting one or both so that they can monitor you for that type of thing

It actually has nothing to do with your eyes but with your brain.

It is actually a form of migraine. Called an Aura Migraine.
This usually occurs before you get the actual painful headache.
Not everyone who get's a headche migraine get's the aura.

I do myself and find that as soon as I see it if I close my eyes and lay down somewhere quiet it will not turn into the headache. If I don't it turns into the full blown migraine.

Taking Clonadine or Catapres nightly can prevent these types of migraines occuring and helps prevent the actual migraine headache.

Seeing your Doctor to say you have been experiencing the aura migraines is a really good start. As they are likely to get worse if you don't get some treatment now.
