Anyone have any clue what this is?!
Question: around three months ago i was taking a ring off my finger after work, and i felt a small lump in my vein, just where my finger bends. i didnt think much of it.
over the last three weeks or so, it has gotten bigger, the lump is harder and more rounded, and its really painful, it gotten to the point where i am finding it hard to bend my finger, also, today at work i noticed that the tip of that finger had gone pure wight, and had small red dots all over, i turned my hand round, and all the veins in that finger had become raised and bumpy, plus the skin on that finger has started turning white and kind of flaking.
its a long shot, but does anyone have any clue about what this could be?

Im not a doctor but hard lumps need investigating, especially if it seems to be effecting the blood flow. U need to see a doc sooner rather than later.
I'm surprised u've left it so long. Go see a doctor asap.
Hmm. Maybe If you kept the ring on the disturbance wouldn't have happened. Like with rope braclets (You know, the kind that shirnk when you go in the water) that ring might have needed to stay on. But you sould go see a doctor, pronto. Stop reading this and go NOW!

i had something the same
i banged my finger on something and got a small hard ball on the underside ofmy finger in the vein if you like but it went after aweek or so . contact your gp because its been 3 weeks
