Major Headache PLEASE HELP!?!

Question: Hey, i usually get extreme headaches every couple weeks / months (usually months) and they kill. My head will pound every time i make the slightest movement, when i have advil (or tylonal) it does nothing (maybe it's noise?) but they won't go away for a couple days. When i go to sleep and wake up it's gone ... but within an hour it's back again and i can't stand it, the pain is killing me.

What should i do?? (please, no suggestions that will be expensive)

More Info:

My house is pretty noisy (except when everyone is asleep). If my little bros aren't screaming my sisters are singing and it's just hellish.

Usually pain that happens that frequently, if it's in the same spot, accompanied with sensitivity to light or sound it is considered a migraine. You need to see a nurologist and have him prescribe you a migraine reliever that works better than excedrine. If you do not know where a doctor that specializes in migraine is, then go to a local clinic, and they will refer you to one.

It could also be an imbalance in your blood sugars. If you have too many sweets, and your body can't cope with them, it can trigger headaches. Try staying away from sweets. It helped me.

If you live in a place with a free health clinic, go there. They will help you, but do get there early because if you don't, you may not get seen that day. Even if you aren't experiancing a migraine at the moment, they can prescribe you a medicine that will work when you get a migraine. Or they will put you on Topamax to prevent them.

First try ear plugs and if that does not work go see a doctor I have seen a sever case and it might involve surgery.

migraine headaches are fierce. do you need glasses it could be severe eyestrain caused through lighting. get someone to massage your neck and shoulders. take your thumb left or right put pressure on the hand side for 20-30-seconds. if nothing helps go see a dr for investigation. you could have a severe food allergy. good luck
