Well, there are a ton of at home remedies with varying results. Cumcumber slices, tea bags, eye masks, all of which rest on the eyes for a few minutes. The idea is to reduce swelling and water retention.

The best way to rid them depends upon their cause. If you retain water under your eyes due to stress or lack of proper sleep, the above solutions may work. More likely, they are genetic. If this is the case, you cannot really rid yourself of them without blepharoplasty (undereye sugery wherein the fat pads are removed). There is also a less invasive, less well known procedure where a laser will deflate the excess water. I am not sure that proper studies have been released on the long term affects, however.

If you use a facial cream (some men do), make sure to avoid the eye area unless the cream is made specifically for eyes. Most facial creams cause extra puffiness undereyes. There is a new product out that you can try. It is getting get reviews. Called Hylexin, you can find it at the link below.

drink lots and lots of water....also, make up helps.

they say the reason we get bags under our eyes is because we aren't usually elevated when we sleep. i saw this on t.v women talking about it. try putting a couple pillows and sleeping more upright. and then if this still occurs get a good concealer dabbing it under your eyes. ( i use cover girl) then get a loose powder and also going under your eyes with it to hide the bags.

Well... My sister tried putting ice cubes on her eye bags. I don't remember if this worked or not... hope I helped. ^^

If you have bags from lack of sleep, do what models do. Tea bags on the eye lids and around the eye. Or(and I know it sounds stupid but) Preperation H gets rid of the swelling. Look it up.

Drink less before going to bed, try drinking less in the evening so you won't go to sleep with a lot of fluids in you're body. But make sure you hydrate properly the rest of the day. And drink less soda-pop. Plain water.

Cucumber and teabags
