Need headache relief after tooth extractions?!

Question: I had 4 teeth pulled 9 days ago, and I'm still getting severe headaches. I have a few of the pain pills (percocet) my doc gave me left, however they don't see to help anymore. What other remedies can I try? I'm looking for something that I can do while still at work.... pressure points, etc....

Take the max dose of ibuprofen, which is 800 mg every 6 hours. Usually I take 600 mg myself, but it is safe to take 800 as long as you are not doing it continually. The ibuprofen will help reduce the inflammation, therefore reducing your pain. And you can take the perc within a couple of hours after taking Ibu.

Nurofen Plus was a big help for me i had teeth surgically removed and that helped my .......and alcohol dude........

your headache is due to referred pain from the jaw to your head.
you can combine ibuprofen[thrice a day, after meals] with the medication you are already taking.also try warm antseptic[listerine] mouth wash thrice a day.
to take care of local infection take a suitable antibiotic after consulting your dentist.
