I woke up with a bad cold yesterday and today my period came early? what do i do!
Question: Does anybody have any helpful remedies. I don't like to take pills when im on my period becuase i hardly ever cramp or feel bad. But this time it hurts really bad, i also don't want to mix pain relievers and cold medicine. so what are some remedies that can help both.

There's no problem with taking ibuprofen with cold medicine, as long as you aren't taking a combination cold medication. If there is no tylenol or ibuprofen in your cold med, you can take ibuprofen now. If there is tylenol in your cold med, wait 2 hours after taking it and take a couple ibuprofen. At this point, it may be better for you to skip the cold med (it helps with symptoms but doesn't cure the cold) and just take the pain med for your cramps for a day or two.
Drink plenty of fluids. The oj that is fortified with calcium would be a good choice for you...Vit C may help with the cold symptoms (helps mucous membranes heal) and the calcium may help with your cramps (make it a habit to take in extra calcium before your period even starts).
Otherwise, a heating pad over your lower abdomen night help. Sometimes a bit of caffeine, as in tea, helps the cramps also. Tea with honey might help both conditions. Hope you feel better soon. You must feel totally miserable!!
ouch, sorry you feel like crap. first, go take a nice hot bath, then put some pj's on, grab a heating pad, and lay on your favorite couch. the heat will help the cramps. hope you feel better soon.
take tylenol pm becuz it will get read of ur pain, and put you to sleep so you wont even worry about being sick
Not sure, but if you go to a health food store, and ask for the homeopathic section, they have the uses right there on the bottle, and my experience with these homeopathics are that they REALLY work. Good luck
