I think that i may have broken my toe/s at the base. can i still run?!

Question: they are my 2nd and third toes. i did a tuck jump on the concrete barefoot just for fun and ever since that day whenever i stand for a very long time or run i have a sharp pain in the base of those toes.

it almost feels like when i walk and push off of those toes like one of them goes, "wobble, wobble." it wobbles. it feels like when you pop your knuckles only it is lateral motion and painful.
like a stabbing pain. like plantar fasciitis only in the very foremost part of my foot where the toes and the foot part join.

ice appears to imporve this. taping the two toes together or to my big toe only made it more wobbly painful and made my toes turn purplish:)

is it possible that bruising the bone or stretching the muscle could do this?

i can't feel it at all if i walk and run with my toes curled under but i am afraid that this might affect my gait.

i really don't want to go to the doctor since i have had to go so many times in the past year.

thanks y'all!

You won't know if you have broken bones unless an x ray is taken. you could have just sprained/strained the muscles in your foot, injured the tendons, or you could have broken your metatarsals.
Sounds as though you know enough about feet (ie plantar fascitis, and gait issues) be smart and go to your doctor. Keep icing it, wear a hard sole shoe, such as a Birkenstock sandals, and take it easy.
