My wrist?!?!

Question: Okay so I've been conditioning for basketball.

Once in the past when doing pushups my wrist has hurt after. Not alot, I could still do normal things, but there was a little pain on the top of my wrist. This went away in a few weeks after resting it.

I have been doing pushups and it seems to hurt again. Same way as before. Does anyone know what this is?!

Please help- thanks. :]

Yes. The same thing happened with my brother. He is an intense golfer and was working out really hard. He did pushups and it killed his wrists. After seeing numerous doctors, we ( we had connections) went and saw the best doctor in the world for athletes. ie- he helps tiger woods. Any ways, he said it was from overworking it. And even after resting for a while once he did it again it hurt. He had him take all pressure off his wrists for 6 months. I know it sounds extreme but now it is a lot better. Ice it and don't do pushups. also... NEVER GET SURGERY ON YOUR WRIST. YOU CAN NEVER RECOVER FROM IT. NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!
