Yep. Thought that a door was a 'Push door', when in fact it went both ways. I noticed this because the person on the otherside seemed to be in a rush as he slammed the door right in my face.

Yes have a couple.I once got one from hitting myself in the eye with the phone as I rang the police to say my car had been stolen.That was not a good day and it hurt like hell.
