What can i do to prevent myself from falling asleep in class?!

In one of my classes, our teacher used to bring hard cinnamon candies and peppermints. They are supposed to help keep you alert. Now, I am just greedy, so I would grab a few, but I never nodded off in his class. He actually passed out information that talked about why they work, but I never read the whole thing, I just ate the candy.

I am taking a night class now, so I lay a bunch on the table and everyone helps themselves. No one has fallen asleep to date, so it just may actually help. Either that or we all just really love Chemistry.

Well, I know you said "besides more sleep". But one of the main factors is making sure you get a good nights rest. The other things that helped me were sitting up in the front of the room, actively participating and taking notes.

lots of things; drink coffee (for caffiene)........eat a mint or two (it stimulates the brain)...take a cold shower int he morning.....eat a small healthy breakfast to stimulate the brain.....

basically, anything that will stimulate the brain in the morning.
