You need to rest, first of all. Back off on exercise or anything that might strain the muscles of your chest.
Beyond that, try applying hot packs to the chest can help reduce the pain. Do it several times a day, especially if you're going to be active. Ice applications can help with pain too, because it moves along the nerve pathways faster than heat and helps reduce inflammation, but it can be shocking and uncomfortable on the chest.
Anti-inflammatory pain meds can help too (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil) and I'm guessing that you're already taking those.
For most people the symptoms will go away within a few weeks. In some, they hang on for a couple months, while the unlucky few have them persist for some time. For them, there is usually some relief with cortisone injections.
