Yes I know exactly what you mean. Soak your foot in warm water, preferably with Epsom Salt or any kind of salt. Then massage the area when water cools. It will help. Sounds like it's a muscle cramp and it's tight so, you've got to loosen it up (kind of like cracking your knuckles). It might also help to stretch the foot also. If the pain persists for longer than a week, please make an appt. to see your primary physician and let him know your symptoms. Good luck.

Did you twist or sprain your ankle , or injure your foot in anyway? Is it swollen, or red? An ice pack and elevation can help the pain, and also Motrin. Can you walk on it? If it gets worse you might want to see a doctor. Hope it feels better.

Apply little warm (coconut) oil or any other and massage ur thighs to foot, if u casn get it done by somebody then it would be much better.

Later after an hour or so have a hot(maximum-possible) bath and keep ur one leg on a small table and pour water slowly, and do for the other also do this process for a couple of days 2 -3 times a day.
Then try what u r doing.
There are times when blood circulation does not take place as it should, so such problems arise.
