Question: all of the sudden i got a sharp pain in the tip of my finger? does anyone know why? i dont think i popped a blood vessel b/c its not a diff. color... but it KILLS! help!

I recently found out I have carpal tunnel & random pain in my fingertips was one of the first symptoms. Are you on the computer a lot or play a sport that requires frequent wrist movement (like tennis)? Have you had any pain at all in your wrist, arm, or hand? Carpal tunnel can affect all fingers but your pinky, since feelings in that finger are controlled by a different nerve.
It's probably nothing to freak out over, but it wouldn't hurt to go see a doctor. I have to wear a wrist brace now because I didn't go to the doctor when I first started getting symptoms.
Have you been playing too many video games? This is something that my brother has said before when he spent all night playing zelda.
what finger? It could be a peripheral entrapment of a nerve in your upper extremity, especially if it is in other areas like side of forearm. If it is just the tip of ur finger and nowhere else idk what it could be. Did u suffer any trauma? If it is that bad go to a good chiropractor
