You may like to consider trying some Melatonin...it is OTC(over-the-counter) 3mg...BUT you MUST take it 1/2hr prior to going to bed with full intention of going to sleep! It will work if you do not turn TV on,etc...just go to bed with intent to sleep without interruption. Melatonin is what we have 'naturally' in our bodies to turn our inner clock on when it is time to rest/sleep...It may also help to have a warm cup of Sleepytime tea or Chammomile tea before turning in for the night as well. I hope you are able to get yourself back on schedule soon~ try not to be frustrated...if you can. Take care

you have something on your mind.just empty your mind think happy thoughts

i have so been there. and still am. did you doctor prescribe you anything? if not, i suggest tylanon pm. take three tablets and it should knock you out unless you are going through some major stress.

Try taking vit D at night before you go to bed. I'm completely stressed right now with school and work and this seems to be helping. I also take B12 in the morning. Good luck...not sleeping sucks!

are you suffering from insomnia?
If not then did you just come back from holiday?
If not then try making a routine before you go to bed.
e.g. watch some tv, read a book, have a glass of warm milk, go to bed with nothing on like a radio.

I've struggled with sleep myself, it sucks! What worked for me is something my chiropractor recommended: apple cider vinegar. I take 2 tsp of ACV (I buy the raw unfiltered kind) mixed with 1/8 tsp of baking soda and a little warm water. I do this 3 times per day and I'm now sleeping GREAT - very solid. I also have more energy during the day AND it's lowered my blood pressure and overall anxiety (which I believe was preventing me from sleeping in the first place). You have to do it consistently and it won't work overnight, but it should start helping after a week and it's totally natural and non-addictive. Good luck!

2 things you can get that will make you sleep without a doubt. melatonin and zma

i get the brand optimum

bodybuilding.com fairly cheap

melatonin is a hormone that your body makes for sleep

zma supports healthy hormone production bb.com advertises it for muscle building tho, all it is, is zinc, magnesium and vitamin b 6.

Omega 3 and Horlicks are supposed to help.

Perhaps you could also investigate a web search for "natural sleep remedies".
