People don't get addicted to cigarette's from just one.

You'll be fine, don't worry at all.

I picked up the habit when I was 17 because all my friends did it. I thought I could quit anytime. 5 years later I was so upset with myself because I really couldn't quit! I haven't smoked in 4 months now! Looking back I really find it hard to believe how easily seduced I was by cigarettes!

So! Good for you! You tried it, don't like it, you're over it!

no it wouldn't have harmed you, you would have been dizzy because of all the chemicals

No, one cigarette wont harm u. What will definitely harm u, is constant company of smokers as the passive/ secondary smoking is as harmful as the primary smoking.

it's still a gross habit to pick up

The weird feeling was nicotine poisoning ! your brain soon adapts to it however and then you find out that to feel normal you have to smoke another cigarette ! so it goes on !! you are hooked ! very insidious .
The most stupid thing I ever did in life was to start smoking !
The most sensible thing I ever did in my life was to give up smoking !
Cheers Pete

I tried my first cigarette when I was 10 years old. My grandfather taught me how. I didn't smoke regularly until I was 16. My sister who is 2 years older than me was smoking, and I had friends who were smoking too, so I picked it up too. I'm 39 now. So If you don't want to smoke, I'd stay away from smoking. Even the one cigarette you tried. That's how it all starts.
