Question: started clinicals...why must CNA's keep their hands out of their pockets while in a facility? Is it a safety issue?

Answers: started clinicals...why must CNA's keep their hands out of their pockets while in a facility? Is it a safety issue?

Because the first time you put your hands in your pockets you place germs there assuming they were clean in the first place.
Then everytime they go in and out germs go in and out.

Be sure you wash your hands before and after caring for pts.
