This is going to sound really weird, but my mom is a nurse and a really smart woman, and she said that if you have a new cut that won't stop bleeding (and is not big or deep enough to require stitches), then clean it really well with soap and water, let it dry, pinch the wound closed (with clean hands), and dab a little bit of krazy glue or super glue on it. Once it dries it keeps the skin closed while it heals. I've tried it before and it works really well - it doesn't burn or anything and it flakes off in a couple of days.

Don't bend your knee. Sit with it elevated and apply pressure to it with a wash cloth or towel.

you may need stitches.

rub it with a cottonball with alcohol and after it dries put a band-aid on it..If it still bleeds it could be that you have an insufficient amount of platelets

put your knee above your heart (that may be tricky) to stop the bleeding and then put medical tape on
knees usually bleed a bit more so id say it normal
once you put the tape on and waited an hour with your knee above the heart, take of the tape, put some antiseptic on and put new tape on. that should stop the bleeding
if it doesn't, start from step one again

press down with paper towl to stop bleeding! KEEP PUTTING PRESSURE ON IT FOR ABOU 10-20 min!
