hello,
well the nurse that you talked to is kinda right if he is not showing signs of having seizures then his body can handle high temps...they told me that when my daughter had a 104.2 temp and they sent me home and told me to taker her home and put her in warm water lower than her temp and let her play till she was tired then give her ibuprofin every 3 hours and tylonal every 2 hours till the fever breaks thats about all the hospital will do...because theres nothing that they have will help except cool ivs and some times that don't work either so good luck how the child gets better and its normal for the heart to beat faster when people have a fever its the white cells trying to fight off the virus or what ever he has

Take him to the Emergency Room!

Yea hospital asap, thats dangerous for him

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!

Then when all this is over, report the nurse who told you to wait. She sounds like an idiot

This is very high - go to a hospital or contact a GP asap. If this isn't possible or you need to wait for an ambulance put him in a bath of cool (not cold) water or wrap ice cubes in a cloth to dab him with whilst travelling/ waiting. Paracetamol is an anti-pyrectic and help brings a temperature down. This happened to me when I had pneumonia - my temperature climbed higher still but I was delirious by then and don't remember much. Get help.

GO TO THE ER!
