through experience,if the cut is a bit big and shows inner layer of the skin,better cover it with a thin gauze pad for a couple of days.apply antibacterial ointment (like bactroban) after you clean it with soap and water and betadine.then if after 2-3 days you let it dry on its own and it's faster to heal when it's exposed in the air.
keep it coverd for a day then uncover it put some neospoin on it and put some ice on it if its starting to get hot cause whens its hot its not good
