Will I have a permenent tattoo from this?!
Question: I work in a mental health facility and earlier today a client stabbed me repeatedly with a pen. It bled under the skin and now that the bleeding stopped and I've got it cleaned up I can see that some ink got under my skin. Now it looks like a patch of freckles. Will I be "tattooed" for life from this, or will it go away after some time?

Being you are already at a health care facility I would get in touch with a doctor, preferably a plastic surgeon, and get your wound cleaned up pronto...
Yes, plastic surgeons talk about , "the Tattoo" affect whenever dirt or etc is left in a wound.

Not so sure about tattooing, but if you have not gone to a doctor, you definitely should.

I'm not sure if that will be permanent, but see a doctor. Ink is toxic, as far as I know. That's not good to have under your skin
It will probably go away. My little brother stabbed me in the ankle with a pen (quite a few years ago), but the ink is gone now. When they do actual tattooing, they go a little deeper under the skin, I think. You definitely want to go to a doctor to prevent infection and scarring.
