I have a sharp, sore pain on my right knee (below the knee cap) when I push on i!

Question: From 2 weeks ago, I've noticed a very painful, sharp spot below my right kneecap (in the soft area). I first noticed it when I was leaning on my knees on the ground. I thought it was just carpet burn or something, but there is no redness or bruising at all. It's not swollen either (from what I can see). It's still as painful as 2 weeks ago, but I've noticed I'm getting sharp pains throughout my whole leg.. especially near the knee area. I've never gotten a broken bone in my life, and I haven't fallen on my knee or anything (however I have jumped from high places - which may put strain on my knees). I have an appointment with my doctor, but it's 2 weeks from now.. I'm just wondering if this is something urgent that needs immediate attention. Thanks :)
