My ears keep poopping even though I'm not changing altitude?!

Question: I went to the pool today and when I came out I kept needing to blow "through my ears" to un-pop them. If you've ever been on a plane you know what that feels like. I thought it would go away with time but I can't sleep and it's gotten worst : it used to be one ear and it popped every minute or so and now both my ears feel like they're filled up and I can't even hear very much ! It's really painful. Have you ever experienced anything like this ? Do you have advice or stories ? Thank you so much !!!

If your ears are 'pooping' it must really hurt. I looked it up in all the medical sites and couldn't find a case of 'pooping ear syndrome',, lotsa of popping ears info though,,like try chewing gum and maybe take a little sudafed or go to WalMart and get an ear wax removal kit,,about $4,, it will fix it

And don't wait weeks before going to the doctor if it begins to hurt. Once outer ear infections "swimmers ear" get started they can quickly turn into a pretty bad infection.

DO NOT put straight rubbing alcohol in your ears,, it will dry the membranes and allow you to get a painful ear infection

Chewing gum always helps. But as for the cause you could just be experiencing higher than normal amounts of Bodily Fluids . Also if you have been swimming you could have water in your ears. If it continues for longer than a few weeks i would consult a Doctor.

swimmers ear go to the doctors. try rubbing alcohol in each ear.

water in the ear at least, and may have progressed into an ear infection.

they havr drops at the store that can help, meanwhile try warm showers.
