Pain in chest?!

Question: I do a paper round and I put the bags that I carry the papers in across my chest as they bags are pretty heavy for me so I find it the easiest way. I was also walking a little faster than usually until I started getting this really sharp stabbing pain in the chest and just a little lower. It started yesterday and it's getting worse. I'm off to the doctors on Wednesday but does anyone have any idea what it could be and why it's happening?

You may have pulled a muscle and it's getting worse because it doesn't have time to heal. You need to slow down. Maybe make an extra trip.

i also have asthma..no paper route though..I'm 45.. i get pains if do to much..you should talk to Ur Doctor though!!

Did you phone to make the appointment on Wednesday without discussing the nature of your complaint?
You should probably at least contact NHS Direct immediately to talk about your chest pains

Maybe you have a little stress caring the bags and those bags are heavy. Maybe. Take some little rest every time and then.

it could be costachondritis
that's what i have anyway...costa means varying (on and off) chondra means ribs and itis means swelling of
so it will get better but it might get worse again, i've had it for around 6 months and sadly i think the only thing that helps is take an advil
