Hernia problem?!

Question: I had a small umbilical hernia repaired 7 weeks ago. I had a checkup 2 weeks after the sugery, everything was fine and the doctor said i could resume activities and sports as long as it didnt hurt. After playing squash the area feels a little sore, and its been like this for a few days now. (it felt fine when i was playing) Do you think there is a problem? It was repaired with a mesh...and dont tell me to see a doctor.

I had a hernia repair done on an abdominal hernia, they used a mesh and the scar was about 2-3 inches and i was back to work (construction) about 6 weeks after my op. My scar hurt for a while. Not bad pain but every so often you could feel it. That was 3 years ago and now it's fine. I sometime feel a small twitch but its nothing to worry about.

If its sharp pains then yeah you should do see the doctor or just give it a bit more time to heal properly, if you force it to much the mesh could slip but after 7 weeks you should be fine.

Just need to get used to it.

check with your doctor im a RN.
It probally bursted from inside.

It is probably fine due to the mesh, however I would give the exercise a rest for a few days. Best of Luck
