If you break your wrist what will happen if you dont get a cast?!
Question: The break could heal incorrectly and cause you problems later in life....then you will have to have the wrist broken again and reset, probably pinned and screwed and suffer with it for weeks or months. Go have your wrist set and cast now and save yourself problems later.

Your hand will fall off.
No seriously, I'm guessing the bone will heal the wrong way and you'll be doomed forever. I'd play it safe and get a cast.
If it is not set, it can be crooked for ever.
It can not be as useful as it could be if it was set in a cast. It depends how bad the break is too...and if it has more than one break.
Have you had an xray to confirm the break? Sometimes it can be just a hairline fracture which means the bone is still intact but broken. If it is a big break, like a crack or greenstick fracture you need a cast. Not only is the pain too great but the bone will heal out of place and you will have life long problems - such as pain, early arthritis and loss of mobility.
seek medical treatment from an orthopedic surgeon. i don't understand the huge deal?.
it will heal wrong
