Depending on the severity of the break surgery may be necessary, but if it is not then bed rest (keeping the leg still) and possibly a cast may be possible.
get her to an orthopedist or ER.
The areas suspected of being fractured (medical term for breaking a bone) should be x-rayed and immobilized. The immobilization may be in a cast or surgically with sterile hardware - pins, plates and screws- inserted by an orthopedic surgeon. (bone surgeon)
Additionally, she should be evaluated for osteoporosis if she is over 50 years old.
i dont get what ur asking.. ijust know you NEED to see a doc. YOU CAN DIE FROM BREAKING UR FEMUR! it can hurt sooo bad.. and you go in shock! HONESTLY! you must see a doc.. orr who ever it is.. NEEDS TO SEE A DOC!
