Be patient with the medicine. The Eustachian tube that runs from your ear to the nose or back of throat is clogged.

Didn't they wash it out with warm water? If not go back and ask them to irrigate it.

You can also get an over the counter solution that loosens the wax. A rubber bulb is provided to flush it out with warm water...

Always read all of the directions....in entirety...and expect to get wet...

And try not to worry, it is the most profoundest way of wasting th precious gift of today, the moment, the Present

you need to take all of it otherwise the medication won't work correctly. it will get better with time but you have to give it time and rest and drink fluids too.

finish taking the medicine, it will take time to work.

also after competing your medication and your ear is still plugged maybe request from your doctor to have them flushed.

This can be done with a warm water solution or candle waxing.

most doctors do this

hope you get well soon,

just had that. just wait it out

Hi,

Don't worry, all will be fine. The 'clogging' feeling you have in your ear is behind the ear drum so asking for irrigation will not help whatsoever! The infection will clear up after taking ALL the antibiotic tablets, but may last a few weeks afterwards due to the time it takes to drain the ear.

You may also have developed what is known as "glue ear" in which a very think, sticky glue-like substance fills the inner ear. This too will go away.

To help in the short-term, you can try to use warm "not hot" olive oil by dropping it into your ear and placing a plug of cotton-wool in the outer ear. Don't push too hard! This will warm the inner ear, help with pain and help loosen the plug of stuff that is inside the ear.

Don't use cotton buds or anything else to put into your ear as you could damage the ear-drum and besides the stuff is BEHIND the drum, not in front of it.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!!

try some Sweet Oil you can get it at Wal Mart
