I hope you can beleive me when I say I understand. Its been over 40 years since I've been fifteen, but I can tell you now that I wasted alot of time worrying about what other people thought or expected me to look like. Advertising is jerking you around. Concentrate on eating a healthy diet, have fun in an activity you like that will provide some exercise and explore things that you are interested in. If there's a guy out there that likes to do the same things you do, he will be attracted to you because you love what your doing. What makes a person look attractive is if they are healthy, clean and happy. Advertising dollars are trying to convince you that you need to look a certain way.

try and go to the gym to tone up.
you need to love your body for other people to.
who cares what guys will think .. a special guy will come along that wont care what your body looks like.
but your also 15, you have many years to get our body in shape and find a guy.

your body changes dramatically at that age. if you dont like you body... just wait awhile and its going to change. if you do like it...dont get use to it. its just one of the challenges of puberty, dont worry sweetheart... your body will eventually ballance out

I know it's easier said than done, but try to count your blessings. The Big Boy upstairs was good enough to give you a body that works. Some people have one with leukemia, cancer or Lou Gehrig's disease. Only you know about the stretch marks. Keep it that way. You might see a disgusting body. Most other people see a nice girl. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Many guys don't mind a voluptuous body on a woman. Cheer up, less stress might even reduce weight too.

you can either hate your body and just be bummed. or you can embrace your body, love it, and be happy. if you let it defeat you, then you are just gonna look defeated. build selfesteem with what you have. great skin, awesome hair, cute nails, so forth. dont let that bring u down

I battled weight as a teenager and a young adult. I wish I had asked for help or advice. First thing to remember is this is in your control (assuming you have no underlying health issues). You should probably talk with your doctor and just make sure you are healthy. From there just set small goals. 5 lbs here, 3 lbs there - it adds up. It may take a while but slow and steady is the way to go. Exercise, drink lots of water and don't beat yourself up if you have a set back. Losing weight is not easy but you can do it.

Instead of focusing on what you dislike look at all the things you like about yourself. Maybe you like your hair, eyes or smile. Focus on a talent, being good in school, a hobby and being a good friend. You want to be physically healthy but if you have a poor self image it won't matter what weight your are.
