Carbon monoxide?!

Question: how can i tell if my oven is putting out carbon monoxide?

today as i was baking and standing by it i felt kind of woosy, i opened a door. still im too paranoid to fall asleep... this was about one hour ago. when am i in the clear?

I think you can get little testers in a hardware store. Turns black if there's CO or something.

Be careful, it takes very little CO to kill.

Is your oven gas fired? Most are electric and do not emit carbon monoxide. If your oven is gas, then turn off, open windows for some ventilation and call a repairman. Your exhaust is not working properly to vent the fume from combustion.
