What is the fastest way to make a scab heal?!
Question: I have a scab from a scrap that I got. I was wondering if there is a way to make it heal, so that the scab falls off and my skin will look normal again...suggestions???

Don't pick at it and apply a thin coat of Neosporin after you shower.

You leave it alone till it falls.
Apply some pure honey over it.
neo-sporen or just peel it off.
Use some Neosporin cream, not the ointment. Note this, that fast healing isn't always good as it can cause scarring.
Warm dry air is what will heal it the fastest.

Don't pick it or it will leave a nasty scar and put on some neosporin every day. It shouldn't take too long.
If you shower and allow the scab to get wet and dissolve a little and then wash it off to exfoliate it, the scab will begin to get smaller as time goes by.
Once the scab is open though, the wound is open and the protective barrier our skin provide is breached. Applying a neo-sporine or generic brand may help heal a little faster and allowing air to circulate helps too.
A good bandage or removal of the bandage every now and then may help...
Aloe & vitamine E oils or emolients help heal and reduce scarring too.
You did not state the location of the wound and this may have a small bearing on how it heals. The size and depth of the wound coupled with the location predicates the outcome of what is a normal healing process...Most scrapes are insignifcant and heal fine over time.
If buy chance it heals and you see some sort of discoloration or change with the skin texture, use Aloe and or Vitamine E daily to help rejuvinate it.
Time and patience is on your side.
