Not everyone reacts the same to a concussion. I have had several doing my Martial Arts and they were all a little different though with each one I can tell you what they say about seeing stars is true!! Man it is awful. A bad concussion you will usually have an indentation, major headache, naseua and sometimes vommiting, dizziness, and often feel sleepy. Just stay up for a bit. I am sure you will be fine. Do you have someone around? To keep an eye and ear out just in case. The good thing is that now you have an goose egg. That is a good sign. You are gonna probably have one hell of a headache. Hang in there. What is worse is when you get knocked out. That stinks.

By the way fill out those workers comp paper right away. Very important. You never know if down the line something else could be more seriously injured and you will need it. I injured my back back in 1988 and worker comp still pays for my medical. I have permanant damage and didn't think about it at the time.

If you will have a concussion, most likely you will be extremely dizzy and off balance. Your head will hurt and you WILL get sick to your stomach or feel extremely nauseous, if you ever have one, do not try and focus on any certain object because hell will come if you do that. Trust me.

If the bump was inward toward your skull, it would be a concussion. Go to sleep. you're alright. Of course it hurts like hell, the head is also a tender area on the outside. Outward bumps are usually just that. Good luck.

Concussion is when your brain bumps the inside of your skull.
You will know quickly if you have one. (with me it was in 15-20 minutes)
Blurry Vision, Extreme Sudden Sleepiness, Dizzyness, Vomiting, were some major signs for me. Later, possible temporary amnesia.

you'd feel drunk

First off, if it happened at work, worker's compensation will pay for the doctor. If you're worried about a concussion, It's best to get it checked out ASAP. Cerebral edema can be life threatening in a worst case scenario.
