How do Canadians feel about universal healthcare? Is it working for you? What ar!
Question: I'm not Canadian.. but I spent some time there .. The woman I stayed with was being treated for fibromyalsia .. She was sent to the Mayo clinic for help... Her parents both in their 90's were both ill while I was there ,. It seemed to me that they all received excellent treatment ...At least I know they were satisfied. One problem I was made aware of was that Canadian doctors were coming to the States for more money.
But overall everyone I spoke to was happy with the system .
One thing for sure ,nobody had to worry about whether or not they would be treated ... everyone is covered.
Unlike in the states...
