The Acetemetephine (Tylenol portion) is extemely toxic to your liver. 4 Grams or 4,000 mg a day is absolutly a max. That is about 8 extra strenght (500 mg) tabs a day. If you go past this and you do not die you most probably WILL cause your liver to fail. After this, is is usually a short walk to having Renal (kidney) failure. I work as on Kidney/Liver Transplant floor and sadly we see these OD's almost weekly, intentional and accidental.
The PM portion is usually a "Benedryl" type drug or other anithistamine. This is what causes the Sleepiness. I am not certain what the max is on these, but too much could effectivly decrease your respirations, especially if you are taking other medications or alcohol, so you must not take more of this then recommended either.
So many people are misinformed and think that if a drug is available over the counter, that it is safe. This is most certainly NOT true. Please read and follow ALL of the cautions and do not take more then directed.
Sleep Aids are intended for occasional use only. If you are concerned about getting to sleep and the standard dose is not helping, please contact your MD, he may be able to provide another remedy then you just self-medicating. Please contact him, and be safe! Best of luck!
a whole box i think would do it... i would only take 4 pills max during a whole night take two now and then in about four hours take 2 more, you don't want to overdue it!
Absolutely. 4,000 Milligrams is a lethal dose for adults and thats without that hydramamine Or whatever in it?
please don't overdose...
probably a handful (like 6 or 7) is enough to get your stomach pumped.. a few more & death becomes likely.

Hope you aren't wanting to die. That's nuts. All problems can be worked out if you really want to. I don't know how many you would have to take to die, and if I knew I wouldn't say. I will tell you this, Tylenol will play hell on your liver. Why don't you go onto the Medlineplus or webmd site and see what the side efects are and you might not want to take them or any pain medication.
I know a lady that took half a bottle and they found her the next day. It messed her up pretty bad. She had thrown up blood, pooped and peed all over herself and she still lived. They said her liver was damaged but she lived for another 3 years in pain and then died.
