Why would my nose be very sore and tender around my nostrils?!
Question: I went to the Dr. about 2 months ago and had the same problem then, he said it was cellulitis from having a sinus infection and perscribed an antibiotic and 800 ibuprofen for the inflamation (it was not huge, but very tender to the touch) I have been having it come back sometimes one nostril or sometimes both or the other. It is not ingrown hairs or pimples. What is causing this? It hurts to yawn b/c my nose moves!

well you might still have the cellulitis and might need an antibiotic...what causes it is bacteria unfortunately... definitely contact the dr. again.
I would guess your skin is dry
Have you had a cold, or been under alot of stress? You might try Abrevia. It works really well for cold sores. Go to WebMD and check it out there. Very interesting... Look up Cold sores. Just a thought...
