I need help..I want to quit smoking.?!


Question: I want to quit smoking so bad! but if i get stressed or nervous or after i eat expecialy after i eat,I end up smoking a cigarette.ive been chugging water when i feel the erge to smoke and it helps,but i always have my breaking point after i eat...I dont want to chew nicotine gum or wear a patch or take a weird pill with weird side affects...i just want to quit...im 24 and i have been an on and off again smoker since i was 15, I want to quit before its to late..does anyone have any ideas or something that worked for you...i would very much appreciate any ideas

hey gurl, im 24 and smoked since i was 14, I just quit, CHANTEX is the sh*t trust me, YEs is has some rare side effects, but me and 5 other peeps all took it and the only thing we all said was that it makes you have weird dreams. NOW IM SMOKE free!!! Ya know right after you huff down a cig after you havent smoked in a while and you get that little head buzzz,, chantex makes you feel like that 24/7 i only took it for 2 weeks, weird dreams are over and so is my smoking habit,

Ive had the same problem. Just DONT BUY THEM. Go cold turkey. If you feel the need for buying some cigs, go in and instead get your favorite soda or something. Just resist buying them. And dont take one if a friend offers one. Better yet, while you're trying to quit, avoid smokers. They'll just tempt the hell out of you.

Try getting a really strong peppermint and popping one everytime you feel the urge to smoke. I do and it seems to curb the mouthwatering cravings. I have been smoke free for 4 months and 4 days.

I actually quit with chantix. I took it for 2 weeks before I stopped smoking and about 2 weeks after I quit. I padded the pill with food (meaning I took it in the middle of a meal) and the only time it made me sick was in the beginning when I didn't pad it. You should consider it if you really want to quit. I have been smoke free and chantix free since about Nov. 15th. But do try the mints too. I get king leo soft peppermints. The sticks are more minty if you can get them, than the balls.

i just quit cold turkey. just stop buying the cigs. the cravings will get easier after 3 days or so. eat food that you like.

buy some of those plastic straws to chew on.
